Comfort food at it's finest…and lightest. I do my best to create healthy meal options that are full of flavour, family friendly and easy to brand. And while I love getting artistic, sometimes my coiffure requests comfort food. You know… meat, potatoes, cheese, ooey-gooey goodness all served up with delicious season.
Challenge accepted.
Non just did I create an amazing casserole complete with vegetables, amazing flavor, meat, potatoes and cheese but I created an amazing goulash that has less calories. I promise you, you won't miss them though.
Every bit an added bonus, this Sausage and Tater Casserole is easy to make! Yous can have this delish dish on the tabular array in about 45 minutes from kickoff to finish…and that includes the prep fourth dimension! And prep time is a breeze because I used al fresco all natural craven sausage. - 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce such every bit Franks or Tabasco

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Slice the roasted pepper and asiago chicken sausage about 1/4 inch thick
